Delays in taking prompt action can endanger lives and therefore it is essential that all emergency teams are well equipped with the right Police light fixtures to help them perform their duties with efficiency. Nowadays the Police light are being sought after by motorists who wish to use the different styles available to highlight their cars and beautify them. The Police light LED light head contains 6 Gen 3 LED Bulbs. A Police light bar that is about 12" long can produce 3600 lumens by discharging a mere 4 amps of current. The manufacturers offer a 5 year bulb replacement warranty when you pick up any type of model. The Police turn on these lights and normally with the siren to announce that they are travelling at tremendous speed. They indicate that they are in a hurry and therefore request the public to keep out of their way and clear the area so that they can race to their destination.

Different types of Lights are fitted to flash simultaneously or alternate flash patterns. The Police light bar can have as many as 19 flash patterns, which are operated easily be the driver of the vehicle with a pattern switch that is conveniently placed for use. The flashes that are programmed for use range from slow, swift, to random lighting. The Police light generally do not use swift lights except in dire emergencies. These extreme bright lights can cause harm to people who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy. The other disadvantage of the lights is that they attract moths. The brilliance of the lights is shielded with a guard that is placed over the deck lights to help shield the officers inside the car from its piercing light.

The LED bulbs that are fitted in the Police light bar are encased with epoxy to ensure that no moisture gets in. This helps to prolong the life of the bulbs and prevent it from getting corroded. Police light Bars are available online with detailed descriptions of the wattage, style, mounting tips and kits that make it easier for the emergency force to use easily. The different types of Police LED lights help, even when one is driving on the highway
